Blood Feud

Winner of Staffs Freshers game jam.

A family feud that's been going on for generations, people have evolved from using caveman tools to whatever weaponry they can get their hands on. Partake in 1v1 battles with a unique DnD style dice-roll system inspired by classic Pokemon games, and see which family comes out on top! Every move has a unique trait to it including how it can affect your rolls.

Blood Feud is a game made for a game jam during my fresher's week at University. The theme for it was "Forbears" implying ancestry. For this, we decided to do that in a similar vein to old flash games such as "Age of War", and also similar to a game I used to play called "Spore." On our team, we had sufficient roles for all members, I was the main game designer, and everybody else is listed on the credits. I thank them a lot as without them I likely wouldn't have been able to do this in the 4 days that we had.  We ended up winning the game jam which was judged by multiple developers from triple A companies.
